Job summary

KinderCare is seeking a Teacher to lead, coach, and mentor fellow educators while implementing our curriculum in a way that meets the diverse needs of every child. You will create a safe, nurturing learning environment, and actively partner with families to support development and enrollment goals.

As a team member, you’ll collaborate with center staff and leadership to drive accreditation, engagement, and program quality, while maintaining exceptional customer service and compliance with state

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills.
• CDA or NAEYC candidacy status required or willing to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• 2-3 years of Early Childhood Education experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers; model and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare curriculum ensuring it fits each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to support child care and education goals.
• Support center success by working with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and partners.

Skills

Customer service

CDA/NAEYC candidacy

State trainer (preferred)

ECE experience 2-3 years

Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Ed

Physical ability to lift 40 lbs
