Core Accountabilities: We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Elementary School Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about various subjects and will be able to engage students through interactive and thought-provoking lessons.
Key Outputs/Results:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum aligned with state standards and school goals.
- Create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Deliver high-quality instruction using a variety of teaching methods, such as lectures, discussions, projects, and multimedia presentations.
- Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and a love of learning among students.
- Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth.
- Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a productive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Essential Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of concepts for elementary aged children and proficiency in teaching a range of topics.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, or related field.
- Valid teaching certification/license in North Carolina preferred.
- Previous teaching experience, preferably in a charter school or diverse educational setting.
