Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking an onsite school psychologist to support elementary students near Newark, DE. This contract role focuses on comprehensive assessments, counseling, and intervention planning for an engaged caseload.

You will collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote student well-being and academic success. The position emphasizes crisis support, IEP participation, and thorough documentation in a compliant setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as a school psychologist.
• Prior experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.
• Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work onsite and engage with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to support individualized education planning.
• Provide direct counseling services to students, addressing academic, behavioral, and emotional needs.
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop intervention strategies and promote positive learning environments.
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to personalized learning plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
• Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with school and legal guidelines.
