Geneva County Schools seeks an experienced Principal for an elementary school to provide leadership and oversee all facets of the school’s program. You will supervise staff, manage the budget, ensure compliance with State Board regulations, and promote student achievement through instructional leadership and community relations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Certification in Educational Leadership, School Principal or Professional School Principal, or Administration and Supervision.
• Must meet background clearance requirements as specified by Alabama Statutes and State Board of Education regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer the instructional program to ensure all students have the opportunity to learn.
• Oversee the accreditation program for the assigned school.
• Develop short- and long-range instructional and facility needs.
• Coordinate plant safety and facility inspections at the assigned school.
• Manage the school's budget and financial resources.
• Recruit, hire and supervise personnel; annual performance appraisals.
• Lead school improvement efforts and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Maintain positive school/community relations and liaison with the community.
