Job summary

Soliant is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support elementary students in a Lake Zurich, IL area school. This contract role runs through June 2, 2027, with a 37.5-hour week at a single school, ASAP start, and potential benefits including healthcare, housing, and meals/incidentals.

Responsibilities include assessing needs, developing intervention plans, coordinating with educators and families, and contributing to IEP meetings while promoting inclusive learning environments.

Qualifications

• Active OT license in the state.
• Experience in a school-based setting with elementary students preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IEPs and related documentation.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and staff.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to creating a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' needs and develop individualized intervention plans.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to integrate OT strategies.
• Support fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills for academics.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional insights.
• Educate teachers and families on OT best practices in school settings.
