Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a school-based Occupational Therapist to support elementary students around Los Angeles. You will deliver OT services, assess motor and sensory skills, and collaborate with teachers and families to implement individualized goals.

This contract role offers about 8 hours per week with a flexible schedule and opportunities to contribute to student success in a vibrant educational community.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California.
• Experience providing OT services in an educational environment, especially at the elementary level.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and families.
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans in a school setting.
• Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and progress monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary students for approximately 8 hours per week.
• Assess students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities within the classroom.
• Collaborate with educators and other school professionals to integrate therapy goals and strategies into daily routines.
• Participate in IEP meetings, provide thorough documentation, and communicate progress with school staff and families.
• Help create a supportive, inclusive learning environment that meets each child's unique needs.
