Job summary

Soliant is seeking an elementary school nurse for the 2026/2027 academic year in Lincolnshire, Illinois. This contract role focuses on health support for 3rd–5th grade students, with an immediate start and a strong emphasis on collaboration with school staff and families to ensure safe, compassionate care.

Responsibilities include vision/hearing screenings, health-record maintenance, and management of medications and chronic health needs.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN license with ISBE/IEP designation required.
• Illinois Vision and Hearing Screening Certification.
• CPR and First Aid certification current.
• School nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily health care and emergency support in elementary school.
• Perform mandated vision and hearing screenings and maintain health records.
• Collaborate with teachers, administration and families to coordinate care.
• Support implementation of individual care plans and IEP health goals.
• Manage medication administration and monitor chronic health needs.
• Contribute to a safe, nurturing environment prioritizing student wellbeing.
