Job summary

Zohorecruit seeks a qualified School Nurse (RN) for an elementary school in Elmhurst, IL. The in-person role runs through the end of the current school year, supporting grades K–5 with health services, IEPs, and 504 plans.

The nurse will manage medical needs, document health records, and coordinate care with families and staff, ensuring district and state compliance while promoting student health and safety.

Qualifications

• BLS CPR/AED Certification is required.
• Hearing and vision screening cert is preferred.
• Illinois PEL – School Nurse endorsement is required.
• Experience coordinating with IEPs/504 plans is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily health services to students and manage medical needs.
• Administer medications and respond to health concerns during school hours.
• Support students with IEPs and 504 plans and coordinate with families.
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Promote a safe, healthy school environment in collaboration with staff.
