Job summary

Montgomery County Public Schools seeks an Assistant Principal / Assistant School Administrator for Pine Crest Elementary School in Silver Spring. You will assist with administering and supervising the total school program and provide educational leadership for students and staff in alignment with MCPS goals.

The role requires a Masters in supervision or educational administration, five years of teaching (at least one in MCPS), and three years of leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in supervision, educational administration, elementary curriculum or closely related field.
• Five years of successful teaching experience, at least one in MCPS.
• Three years of school-based leadership experience or central services leadership.
• Maryland Administrator I or elementary/special education principal certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administering and supervising the total school program.

• Contribute to planning, program development, and decision making.
