The Instructional Coach will work as a colleague with classroom teachers to support student learning. The Instructional Coach will focus on individual and group professional development to expand and refine understanding of evidence-based instructional practices that support effective instruction. To meet this purpose, the Instructional Coach will provide personalized support based on the goals and identified needs of individual teachers.
JOBGOAL:
To actively aid and support staff in improving their knowledge, skills, and effectiveness in meeting the educational needs of students in all academic areas. To meet and coach individual teachers and groups of teachers as they discuss and learn about curriculum, pedagogy, assessments, Multi-tiered System of Supports (MTSS), instructional differentiation, and a broad array of evidence-based teaching practices. The purpose is to actively aid and support district and school teams in the development and implementation of high-quality curriculum and instruction.
