Job summary

Quincy Public Schools in Quincy, MA seeks an Elementary School General Education Long Term Substitute. The role is to teach general education to elementary students on a long-term basis, starting immediately. Salary is daily and increases after 20 consecutive days.

Must have a Bachelor’s degree and classroom experience; MA DESE license preferred. The candidate will employ diverse teaching methods, deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum, and support an inclusive, equitable learning

Position: Long Term Substitute – General Education Elementary Teacher

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Classroom or related experience with children ages 5+
• MA DESE License preferred

Salary: $125.00 per day, $150.00 per day after 20 consecutive days

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Prior teaching experience or related experience with children ages 5+ and the ability to contribute meaningfully to grade-level. Candidates must have excellent writing, interpersonal, and organizational skills, and the ability to work with independence in dealing with the diverse elements of the academic environment.
