Qualifications

• Ability to work with elementary age students in a supportive capacity.
• Knowledge of elementary school office, attendance, and library preferred.
• Willingness to learn new software or equipment as needed.
• Board may approve suitable alternatives.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with non-instructional duties and supervising students.
• Work with individuals or small groups, reinforcing instruction as directed.
• Support students with assignments, homework, and projects.
• Assist teacher with routine clerical duties and documentation.
• Observe and manage behavior in classroom, lunch areas, playground, and bus loading.
• Help ensure a safe learning environment and report progress as needed.
• Provide office support with various duties and data entry.
