Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in custodial work is an asset.

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of classrooms, hallways, restrooms and common areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of facilities and equipment.
• Handle waste disposal and recycling according to procedures.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of school events and activities.
• Monitor supplies and report shortages or needs to supervisor.
• Conduct routine facility inspections for maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with staff to promote a positive school environment.
• Participate in training and professional development as required.
