Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small group counseling to identified students.
• Provide consultation to school personnel, parents/guardians, and community partners to enhance understanding of student needs and build school capacity.
• Provide crisis intervention counseling for adults, children, and families experiencing emotional disturbances or safety concerns.
• Coordinate school, home, and community resources and refer students and families to programs.
• Interpret assessment data to guide individual goal setting and planning.
• Serve on district crisis and threat assessment teams to guide interventions.
