Vermont Learning Collaborative is partnering with Mountain Views Supervisory Union to recruit an Elementary School Counselor. This 0.70 FTE role is shared between Barnard Academy and Reading Elementary School and focuses on student well-being and inclusive learning environments.

The counselor will collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to deliver classroom, small-group, and individual support that helps students thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in School Counseling or related field.
• Valid Vermont Educator License with appropriate endorsement.
• Experience with elementary students and school-based settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead SEL instruction and support across two schools.
• Provide individual and group counseling and classroom guidance.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff on behavior plans.
• Support crisis response and positive school climate.
