Job summary

River Rock Academy seeks an Elementary School Counselor to support students' emotional and social well-being through counseling, collaboration, and proactive interventions. You will help create a safe, inclusive environment where students can grow in confidence and develop lifelong coping skills.

The role requires a Master’s degree in counseling and PA School Counselor certification, with strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Experience with students who have special needs or emotional challenges preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to support emotional wellness.
• Develop and monitor IEP goals and behavioral support plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure consistent support.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with FERPA/HIPAA.
• Foster positive relationships to promote student resilience and success.
