Job summary

River Rock Academy in Douglassville, PA is seeking a dedicated Special Education teacher to support students facing behavioral and academic challenges. The role requires a PA Special Education teaching certification and experience with IEPs and behavior plans.

You will develop individualized lessons, manage classroom behavior, track student progress, and collaborate with families and staff to foster student development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with Pennsylvania Special Education certification.
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs and behavior support plans.
• Knowledge of behavior management and positive behavioral interventions.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and classroom leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and service providers.
