This full-time position involves providing support to young students in their social, emotional, and academic development. The ideal candidate will create a safe and nurturing environment that fosters positive relationships among students, staff, and families, while promoting the overall well-being of all children.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral issues.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement strategies that support student success and well-being.
• Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
• Facilitate classroom guidance lessons on topics such as conflict resolution, self-esteem, and social skills.
• Serve as a resource for parents and guardians, offering guidance and support related to child development and school-related concerns.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and collaborate on intervention strategies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions and student progress.
