Job summary

The Mental Health Therapist role provides therapeutic services to students in school settings, conducting assessments and creating individualized treatment plans to support emotional, behavioral, and academic wellbeing.

You will deliver individual therapy, crisis intervention, and care coordination while collaborating with educators, families, and community partners to promote mental health and resilience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in social work or counseling.
• Two years experience with indigent populations and community programs preferred.
• Must be licensed by the State CSWMFT (LSW/LISW, LPC or LPCC) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults in clinical or school settings.
• Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Deliver ongoing therapy and crisis intervention as needed.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and community providers for coordinated care.
• Maintain medical records and ensure HIPAA-compliant documentation.
