Job summary

Rockingham County Schools’ Lincoln Elementary in Ruffin, NC seeks a Reach Associate to support a Multi-Classroom Leader team by providing small-group tutoring and non-instructional assistance. The RA may supervise during transitions, lunch, and structured activities under the guidance of the MCL team.

The position runs 10 months with full benefits and an $1,000 yearly stipend, 8 hours per day. Duties include administrative tasks, behavior management, and collaboration with teaching staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children.
• Bachelor’s degree a plus, but not required.
• Demonstrated effectiveness working with people who have differing cultural backgrounds and/or personal characteristics.

Responsibilities

• Tutor small groups and individuals under supervising teachers.
• Supervise projects, skill practice, and digital learning.
• Maintain attendance, enter grades, scheduling parent conferences, and other duties.
• Collaborate with teachers, tutors, volunteers, and digital lab monitors.
