Job summary

Nash County Public Schools Benvenue Elementary in Rocky Mount, NC seeks a Reach Associate to support Multi-Classroom Leaders and teachers. You will co-teach, learn student data analysis, and provide targeted small-group tutoring under MCL guidance.

Ideal candidates have experience with children, a 2-4 year degree (or 96 college hours), and strong behavioral and communication skills. This is a full-time position starting immediately in a dynamic school environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children.
• 2- or 4-year degree in any area OR 96 college hours and acceptable test scores.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Tutor small groups and individuals under supervising teachers.
• Assist with classroom management and behavior during transitions and activities.
• Perform administrative duties such as taking attendance and entering grades.
• Collaborate with teachers, tutors, volunteers, and lab monitors as applicable.
• Participate in professional development and team planning meetings.
