Job summary

WoodsEdge-Community-Church is seeking an Elementary Program Coordinator to support the 1–4th grade large group environments. You will help run Sunday morning programming, manage tech, welcome volunteers, and coordinate materials for Bible stories and Wed. Night programming.

You will collaborate with the Program Director, edit slides in ProPresenter, assist with song selection, and help plan stage themes. Strong organizational skills and volunteer leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and proficiency using MS Office.
• 3+ years’ experience in church/non-profit/admin support requiring decision-making, creativity, and a strong work ethic.
• HS Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience leading teams or working with volunteers preferred.
• Ability to self-start and see projects through completion with minimal direction.
• Interpersonal skills for collaboration with parents, ministry leaders and volunteers.
• Strong organizational and administrative abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in running Sunday morning programming for 1st–2nd and 3rd–4th grade students.
• Turn on and check all tech for environments.
• Welcoming volunteers and explaining program order/changes.
• Rehearsing the program with crew or supporting a volunteer in that role.
• Manage/run programming and supporting volunteers.
• Ensure environment and tech are shut down at the end of services.
• Meet weekly with Program Director for planning and discipleship.
• Edit program slides in ProPresenter.
• Work with Director on song selection and choreography.
• Gather materials/props for Bible stories and plan Wed. Night Elementary Programming.
• Schedule volunteers for Wed. Night Programming.
• Plan and coordinate theme changes for stages for each unit of curriculum.
• Assist programming of the 1pm service twice a month if needed.
