Qualifications

• Verification showing completion of an approved program in administration and supervision and/or required coursework from an accredited institution.
• Hold or immediately be eligible for a Virginia Department of Education license with an endorsement in Administration and Supervision: PreK-12
• Three years of successful experience as a teacher
• Experience in implementing educational programs

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the instructional program and coordinate administrative oversight and planning of all phases of instructional leadership for the school, including programming, administration, budgetary planning, and discipline of students.
• Establish an effective learning environment and maintain high standards of student conduct.
• Engage with parents and staff to achieve accreditation standards.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders through strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate collaborative leadership and foster an inclusive, equitable learning environment.
• Demonstrate familiarity with Google Drive for instruction and use technology in education and administration.
