Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This on-site contract covers two elementary schools, with a .6 FTE at one school and a .4 FTE at the other, from August 25, 2027 to June 11, 2027.

Located just north of Detroit, the role focuses on pediatric and school-based care, with collaboration among teachers, families, and a multidisciplinary team to support student progress.

Qualifications

• MI licensure is required.
• ASHA CCC or CFY eligibility.
• Experience in schools or pediatrics preferred.
• Proficient in SLP assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for school-aged children.
• Collaborates with teachers, families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication, documentation and organization.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to elementary students.
• Conduct assessments and develop IEPs; document progress.
• Implement evidence-based interventions in a school setting.
• Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences.
• Support a positive learning environment.
