The role requires a high school diploma or GED with a paraprofessional test (or Praxis ParaPro) and a substitute permit; basic tech skills are needed.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or GED and pass paraprofessional test, or Praxis Para Pro Assessment; substitute permit required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn classroom technology including smart boards and projection systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in PE and maintain a positive classroom environment.
• Maintain word wall and ICAN statements and ensure cohesive PE instruction across elementary schools.
• Implement provided PE lessons promptly and coordinate with administration on Field Day planning.
• Keep subfolders with lesson plans and required materials up to date.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
