Job summary

Snohomish School District is seeking a paraeducator to support elementary education under the supervision of the Building Administrator and classroom teacher. Responsibilities include classroom assistance and one-on-one student time as described in the attached job description. Salary ranges from $27.38 to $31.13 per hour for Paraeducator A on the 2026-2027 salary schedule.

Start date ASAP; schedule Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 9 months/year with paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet one of: associate degree or 72 quarter credits or pass approved educator assessments.
• Fundamental Course of Study (FCS)-Paraeducator Certificate upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Recess duty, lunch supervision, and crossing guard responsibilities.
• Provide classroom support and one-on-one time with students.
