Job summary

Snohomish School District is hiring paraeducators to support elementary students at Seattle Hill Elementary. Duties include recess and lunch supervision, crossing guard responsibilities, and one-on-one student assistance. Applicants must meet education requirements and pass state-approved assessments.

Starting ASAP; 9-month calendar with 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. shifts; benefits provided per district schedule. Competitive salary 27.38–31.13 per hour with standard Washington SEBB benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Either 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at 100 level or higher required.
• Passed PSB-approved assessments: ETS Para Pro (455+), Para Pathways (Reading 324 / Writing 324, Math 325), Pearson Para, or Master Teacher Paraeducator.
• Upon hire, complete the Fundamental Course of Study (FCS)-Paraeducator Certificate.
• Ability to meet the qualifications listed on the job description.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support and one-on-one time with students.
• Duties include recess duty, lunch supervision, and crossing guard responsibilities.
• Support elementary educational process under supervision of Building Administrator and classroom teacher.
