Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• AA degree or 48 college credits or paraeducator assessment pass.
• Proficient in basic spelling, math and grammar.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor students throughout the day per district policies.
• Communicate safety concerns to the principal or supervising staff.
• Tutor individuals or groups in specific skills as directed by teachers.
• Assist with basic instructional and behavioral programs.
• Plan daily/weekly activities with teachers and staff.
• Assist with health-related procedures as assigned.
• Interact positively with students, parents and staff.
