Job summary

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to develop lesson plans and instructional materials implementing the district curriculum.
• Translate lesson plans into developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• Establish and maintain standards of pupil behavior to create an effective learning atmosphere.
• Evaluate pupils' academic and social growth, maintain records, and prepare progress reports.
• Identify pupil needs, refer for support, and develop IEP strategies.
• Communicate regularly with parents via Schoology, newsletters, calls, emails, and conferences.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to support student success.
• Maintain and improve professional skills through meetings, coursework, workshops, and conferences.
• Participate in a professional learning community.
• Integrate technology into instruction.
• Perform other duties of similar nature or level.
