Build a joyful and inclusive classroom culture that supports confidence, collaboration, and creative risk-taking
Assess and track student progress and musical growth, adjusting instruction to meet individual needs
Collaborate with fellow educators to integrate music into broader cross-curricular learning experiences
Maintain classroom instruments and resources while modeling professional conduct and school values

Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or a related field
Preferred: Valid Arkansas teaching license in Music (K–12) or eligibility for an alternative certification pathway

Experience teaching music at the elementary or middle school level
Knowledge of performance preparation, event planning, or music production
Ability to play one or more instruments and/or lead vocal instruction
Familiarity with music tech tools
At ARLCS, you’ll find a community that values the arts as essential to scholar development and success. We offer:
A creative platform to shape an inspiring music program
Professional development and mentorship opportunities
A supportive, mission-driven network of educators
The chance to truly make your mark—through music and beyond
