The Cumberland Valley School District is seeking a full-time elementary musicteacher. This position will be responsible for teaching elementary general music for students in grades K-5, direct elementary chorus for students in grades 4-5, and support elementary instrumental instruction for band/orchestra for students in grade 5at Winding Creek Elementary.An active and valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certification is required for this position. Prior experience as a music teacher is also preferred. Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of the physical and psychological aspects of elementary school-aged children and good communication skills. Must understand and be able to teach the approved curriculum. The professional candidate(s) selected for this assignment understands and agrees that they may be required to teach in a blended or online format as requested by administration.
