KIPP Northern California Public Schools is seeking an Elementary / Multiple Subjects Teacher to join its network of free, public charter schools. You will deliver standards-aligned instruction and build relationships with students and families to support learning.

The role emphasizes joyful, inclusive classrooms, culturally responsive teaching, and collaboration with instructional coaches and school leaders to advance equity and high expectations for every student.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• California teaching credential or eligibility via KIPP NorCal pathway.
• CPR certification through AHA or Red Cross when required for the permit pathway.
• Strong knowledge of subject matter and grade levels.
• Plan, deliver, and adapt instruction using student work and assessment results.
• Commitment to culturally responsive teaching and anti-racist practice.
• Ability to use Google Workspace and instructional technology.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver standards-aligned instruction using KIPP NorCal's curriculum.
• Adapt instructional strategies for multilingual learners and students with disabilities.
• Collaborate with staff to implement student learning plans and provide instructional supports.
• Establish learning goals and monitor progress with checks for understanding and assessments.
• Analyze student data to adjust instruction and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and documentation.
• Cultivate an inclusive classroom culture with belonging and high expectations.
• Build strong relationships with families and communicate student progress.
• Engage in coaching, feedback, and professional learning to improve practice.
• Other duties as assigned.
