Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks a licensed SLP for a school-based contract near Sparks, NV, spanning elementary through high school to support communication, learning, and social development.

You will conduct therapy, evaluations, and IEPs; collaborate with teachers and families; maintain documentation. Compensation ranges from $41 to $60 per hour, with benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals where available.

Qualifications

  • Valid Nevada SLP license required.
  • Experience in schools preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to caseloads spanning elementary, middle, and high school populations.
  • Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and monitor student progress.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support individualized student goals.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with regulations and district guidelines.
  • Offer consultation and direct support to teachers and caregivers to enhance carryover of therapy strategies in class and at home.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities as needed.

Job description

Key Qualifications:
