Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
  • NV State SLP license and ESA certification (or ability to obtain) required/preferred.
  • CCC-SLP certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and administrators.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
  • Support AAC implementation and other communication strategies when appropriate.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.

Speech Language Pathologist - Yerington NV

Location: Yerington NV

Position Type: Full-Time | School Year Position

Hours: Monday-Friday, FT (37.5 hours/week)

Start Date: August 20th

About The Role

We are seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and student-focused Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our educational team in Sumner. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students develop communication skills that support academic success, social development, and independence.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations for students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and administrators
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

Qualifications
