Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is hiring a School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Grass Valley, California for the 2026-2027 school year. The role is onsite, full-time, serving elementary and middle school students with a caseload of about 55.

The SLP will conduct evaluations, develop goals, participate in IEP meetings, and deliver direct therapy while maintaining compliance and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in California.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience in school-based settings preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment goals.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services.
  • Maintain documentation and compliance with state and district requirements.

We are seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, onsite school-based position in Grass Valley, California for the 20262027 school year. This opportunity allows you to work with both elementary and middle school students while supporting communication development and educational success.

Position Overview
  • Full-time school-year assignment
  • Onsite services only
  • Support students across elementary and middle school settings
  • Caseload of approximately 55 students
  • Work with a collaborative multidisciplinary team
  • Opportunity to serve a diverse student population
Student Population
  • Elementary students (Grades K4)
  • Middle school students (Grades 58)
  • Homeschool and private school students as needed
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services
  • Maintain documentation and compliance with state and district requirements

Requirements
  • Active California Speech-Language Pathology License
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage evaluations, therapy services, and IEP responsibilitiesPrevious school-based experience preferred
