This is a unique opportunity for certified teachers to pursue further certification as a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT). Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the needs of students with dyslexia
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development in evidence-based dyslexia teaching methods
  • Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain detailed records of student assessments, progress, and instructional strategies
  • Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to meet individual student needs
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
Skills and Qualifications
  • Valid teaching certification in relevant grade levels or subject areas
  • Experience or interest in working with students with learning differences, particularly dyslexia
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based reading and language instruction practices

  • Highly preferred: Experience with special education
