Job summary

Amazing Athletes, LLC is seeking an enthusiastic Magic Instructor for our afterschool program in New York. You will share the art of magic with Kindergarten through 5th grade students, building confidence, creativity, presentation skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities include developing age-appropriate curriculum, teaching tricks and showmanship, and preparing a semester showcase. Excellent communication and classroom management are essential for creating a fun, engaging

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience working with children or youth enrichment programs preferred.
• Punctual, reliable and able to communicate expectations clearly.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Ability to develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum for elementary students.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage and motivate students during magic lessons.
• Lead an age-appropriate magic curriculum for elementary students.
• Teach magic tricks, sleight-of-hand techniques, performance skills, and showmanship.
• Create lesson plans that foster creativity, confidence, and public speaking.
• Prepare students for an end-of-semester showcase/performance.
• Collaborate with site administration to manage student behavior and classroom expectations.
• Communicate with management regarding program-related matters.
• Utilize company platforms to perform administrative tasks (attendance, incident reports).
• Maintain organization and accountability of program materials and supplies.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and fun learning environment.
