Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools is seeking a Lunchroom/Noon Supervisor for elementary students. The role involves supervising students during lunch periods, monitoring behavior, enforcing safety rules, and assisting with conflict resolution to ensure a safe and orderly environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, is at least 18 years old, and has prior experience with school-aged children. Work is 2.5 hours per day, 165 days per year, with a non-exempt status.

Qualifications

• Experience with school-aged children preferred.
• Ability to supervise groups in structured/unstructured settings.
• Clear, professional communication with staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during lunch and transitions to maintain a safe environment.
• Monitor behavior and help resolve conflicts in lunchroom and outdoor areas.
• Enforce rules and safety procedures during lunch and recess.
• Assist with weather-appropriate outdoor supervision.
• Report safety concerns to principal or supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality per district policies.
• Support principals in establishing lunchroom/playground expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
