Job summary

Andover Public Schools is seeking a part-time Lunch Aide at Robert Martin Elementary. The role supports daily food service operations, supervising students during meals, and ensuring safety in a busy lunchroom.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, the ability to work with students in a diverse environment, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to stay confidential. The position requires standing for extended periods and the ability to respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in regular routines including but not limited to assisting with student line-up for food service in the lunchroom during food service periods.
• Follow expectations of district regulations for behavior in food service periods.
• Monitor students as they enter and exit the food service area.
• Assist in rearrangement of food service areas, cleaning and maintaining general orderliness.
• Adhere to all district health and safety policies including all precautions of the Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Control Plan.
