Job summary

Loudoun County Public Schools in Virginia is seeking a part-time lunchroom aide for an elementary school to supervise students from arrival through dismissal. You will assist students at the lunch line, help with condiments, napkins, and opening milk cartons, and ensure safe, orderly behavior in the cafeteria.

Responsibilities include arranging seating, monitoring conduct, aiding parents and visitors, and helping with cleanup after lunch periods.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of student behavior relevant to children enrolled in LCPS.
• Ability to supervise student behavior, maintain discipline and perform lunchroom duties.
• Good human relations and communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee students from entry to exit of lunchroom.
• Assist students at the lunch line with condiments, milk cartons, napkins, etc.
• Maintain orderly seating and cafeteria atmosphere; promote good manners.
• Assist parents, relatives, or visitors in the lunchroom.
• Arrange tables for seating and help with cleanup after lunch.
