Job summary

Horizon Elementary in Everett, Washington is seeking a Library Paraeducator to support the daily operations of the school library. Qualifications

• Be at least eighteen and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• High school diploma or equivalent with one of: associate degree or higher, 72 quarter credits, 48 semester credits, completed paraeducator apprenticeship, or PESB assessments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with library operations alongside the librarian to support students and staff.
• Supervise students and model appropriate behavior while in the library.
• Shelve books, maintain displays, and keep the library organized.
• Operate library equipment and office devices used for instruction.
• Support instructional and non-instructional activities for students.
