Job summary

Kamehameha Schools Kapalama Campus is seeking Educational Assistants to support our Elementary School students. This temporary role involves supervising students, assisting with instruction, and helping prepare materials and activities under the direction of classroom teachers.

The position requires a High School Diploma and at least 3 years of related experience, plus a valid driver’s license. Work hours are typically within school days with potential for extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Supports classroom and school-wide activities and events under teacher direction.
• Prepares instructional materials and assists with standardized test administration.

Responsibilities

• Supervises students during recess, before/after school, lunch, and in class when teachers are unavailable.
• Organizes and coordinates classroom, grade level and school-wide activities and events.
• Provides direct instructional support to students individually or in groups, under teacher direction.
• Assists with preparing lessons and related activities, and helps with assignments and projects.
