Job summary

Weston Public Schools in Weston, MA, seeks an Elementary Learning Assistant to support students with academic, social, and behavioral needs alongside Woodland Elementary School staff. Regular full-time role, 7 hours per day, Monday through Friday when school is in session.

Responsibilities include small group instruction, data collection, and collaboration with teachers to adapt strategies to individual student needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs or behavior background preferred.
• Competent with technology including Microsoft Office, Google Suite and Zoom.

Responsibilities

• Foster an environment of respect and inclusion.
• Provide individual and small group instruction.
• Document data collection and progress.
• Assist teachers in developing strategies based on student needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Building Principal.
