Job summary

Charter Schools USA in North Carolina is seeking an Elementary Instruction Aide to support teachers and students. You will help implement the daily program, prepare learning materials, and supervise activities while fostering a safe, respectful classroom.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, fluency in English, and the ability to work with diverse learners. Prior experience with children is preferred, and you may be asked to perform clerical tasks and participate in trainings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
• Experience working with children, preferably with disabilities.
• Criminal and employment background check must be cleared.
• Must be in the process of becoming prepared to supervise young children.

Responsibilities

• Assists in implementing the daily program under teacher direction.
• Assists in planning and preparing the learning environment and materials.
• Works with students individually or in small groups and reviews instruction.
• Supervises playground and school activities.
• Performs clerical tasks and attends staff meetings.
• Treats all children with dignity and respect.
