Qualifications

• High School degree, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Fluent English speaking, reading, and writing.
• Criminal and employment background check required.
• Experience working with children, preferably with disabilities.
• Be in the process of becoming professionally prepared to supervise young children.
• Comply with CSUSA values and Code of Ethics.

Responsibilities

• Assists in implementing the daily program under teacher direction.
• Plans and prepares the learning environment and materials for students.
• Works with students individually or in small groups to reinforce instruction.
• Supervises outdoor playground activities.
• Performs clerical tasks and general housekeeping as needed.
• Assists the teacher and attends staff trainings and conferences.
• Operates instructional equipment used in the classroom.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal.
• Follows directions given by head teacher or supervisor.
