Holling Heights Elementary is hiring a Kitchen Helper for the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time role supports meal prep, serving, and cleanup for students, with duties including cooking, cleaning, and occasional lunch cashier tasks. The position follows the same schedule as students.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in high-volume food preparation and serving preferred.
• Food Handlers Class required within 30 days of employment.
• Ability to establish cooperative working relationships with staff and students.
• Reliable attendance and ability to follow instructions in all areas of foodservice.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation, serving, and cleanup of meals for students.
• Cook and bake food and prepare portions.
• Clean and sanitize utensils, dishes, and equipment; perform kitchen cleaning duties.
• Act as a cashier for lunch; count money and manage supplies.
• Serve prepared food to students and adapt to a dynamic environment.
