Job summary

Grace Fellowship Church is seeking an Elementary Director to lead all programs for kids in first through fifth grades, ensuring they Know God, Know the Bible and can share their faith. The ED builds relationships with leaders, kids, and families and works on-site at our office in Katy, Texas.

The Director collaborates with the Kids staff, attends weekly staff meetings, and contributes to large-scale events such as Family Christmas Eve Service, VBS, and family events.

Qualifications

• College degree in early childhood development or 3–5 years in kids ministry at a church.
• Active involvement in church or school.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, development, and implementation of all programs for first through fifth graders.
• Edit curriculum and post weekly lessons and resources for elementary classes.
• Coordinate weekly schedules for Sunday morning leaders.
• Recruit, train, and equip leaders for Sunday morning and VBS.
• Ensure safety and compliance with Ministry Safe guidelines.
• Build community among Kids Ministry leaders and volunteers.
