Job summary

Lincoln Berean Church is seeking an Associate Director of Kids // Elementary to lead volunteers, shape Sunday morning programs, and oversee curriculum aligned with our mission. This role partners with the Kids Director to cultivate a safe, faith-forming environment for kindergarten through fifth grade and their families.

The role emphasizes leadership development, parent engagement, and collaboration with the Kids team to expand ministry impact while maintaining high standards of discipleship

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Bible College or Seminary preferred.
• Experience in Kids ministry preferred.
• Ability to manage and lead through a large team of lay leaders and volunteers.
• Demonstrated skill in leadership development and discipling.
• Experience with recruiting and training volunteers.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop volunteers to execute Kids ministry initiatives.
• Oversee Sunday morning programming with a dynamic group experience.
• Review and customize curriculum to align with doctrine and program goals.
• Foster strong relationships with parents and kids; facilitate regular communication.
• Plan and collaborate on Special Events (e.g., VBS, kid-focused events).
• Maintain safety, scheduling, and volunteer coordination across services.
