Job summary

Grace Fellowship Church in Katy, Texas seeks an Elementary Director to lead all kids programs for grades 1–5. This role focuses on helping children Know God, Know the Bible, and share their faith, while building relationships with families and leaders.

The ED works with the Kids staff, reports to the Kids Ministry Lead Director, and works on-site. This full-time role requires engagement in weekly staff meetings and leadership of Sunday morning activities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading kids ministry or church programs is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication and ability to train volunteers.
• Commitment to Grace Fellowship Church’s beliefs and mission.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, development, and implementation of elementary programs (grades 1–5).
• Edit curriculum and post weekly lessons for elementary classes.
• Coordinate weekly Sunday schedules for leaders and volunteers.
• Recruit, train, and equip leaders for Sunday mornings and VBS.
• Maintain safety and compliance with church guidelines.
