Birch Agency is hiring a K-6 Pull-Out Intervention Teacher to support elementary students in small group settings for the 2026-2027 school year. Responsibilities include delivering targeted interventions, assessing progress, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois PEL or equivalent state certification.
• Endorsement in Elementary Education, Reading, Special Education or related field preferred.
• Experience working with elementary students in intervention settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of reading, writing, and math instructional practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to individualized student support.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted reading, writing, and math intervention services to K-6 students in small group settings.
• Deliver evidence-based instructional strategies tailored to individual student needs.
• Assess student performance and monitor academic progress regularly.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success.
• Maintain accurate student records, progress reports, and intervention documentation.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and student support planning.
• Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth and confidence.
